As someone who boxed golden gloves and played hockey for 20 years, I've been in my fair share of fist fights. What always worked for me when surrounded by "the enemy" was to look the main aggressor in the eye then fire a right cross into the face of the guy on my left. Follow that with a left hook to the main aggressor. They never know what hit them. After the first 2 it becomes total chaos and you rely completely on training and muscle memory. But usually in hockey fights after the first two punches both teams wind up in a dog pile and I'd just lay at the bottom of the pile laughing. Man, getting old sucks. If I could turn back time.

All the liquor stores by me are the same. The registers are either run by some early 20s pot head chick or the owner. I'm assuming today I was rung up by the owner since it wasn't a girl with mismatched tattoos and bloodshot eyes, but rather a middle aged Indian man. He appreciated the $47 of business.

I was at a liquor store this morning no mask, no problem. I also stopped at a tavern I've been to several times maskless to get a gift card. No mask, no problem. There are places in NJ where you can go maskless. I try to shop there.
In a metaphorical sense. I'm sure all of the men wearing masks have trouble keeping their mouths shut since they're usually full of dicks.
I wear a mask just long enough to get past the assholes at the door at every store here in NJ and then the mask comes off. I've only ever been kicked out of a Barnes and Noble, the Christiana Mall in DE, and a West Marine. Everyone else just looks at me weird/jealously and keeps their sheep mouths shut.

My father got covid about a week after his first vaccine shot too. Precovid he was 65 with a pacemaker, diabetes, and has borderline kidney failure. He made it through fairly easily all things considered. Never spent a night in the hospital.
