My 76 year old sweet Mom is in the hospital since March 21 with Coronavirus. They started her on Rocephin for the pnemonia and Azythromycin. It took 6 days to get the first test back (it was positive). The next day we got the second test back(ended up being a false negative). Yesterday we got the third test back(positive), so they finally started her on the Malaria meds yesterday afternoon (April 1). She told me on the phone today that she was feeling better this morning, which is great. She has received excellent care, and I am thankful for the staff and the hospital bed. But I really hope she will feel much better in four more days. My Mom has really bad lungs due to severe asthma. I was really afraid when she was heading to the hospital, but I am thrilled that she seems to be fighting this, even with so many days of not having the Hydroxychloroquine. It is like a miracle if you knew how bad her lungs are.
I agree. My third son is so intelligent (takes after his father), and even with an almost perfect SAT score, had to apply THREE times to finally get into Georgia Tech. There are many Chinese students there, and I have never understood why we prefer to give them that opportunity, rather than a hard working American student? Honestly, it is a very difficult time to be a white, smart, Christian, straight young man. It sucks.

I have two friends who were former Deltas. I can say they are both amazing men - strong and smart. I love how Trump never stops acting on all fronts, no matter what the hell is going on. I went to bed late last night and it was the last thing I read. It was just too much after a day of difficult news in my family. When I woke up, I laid in bed and listened to "Lady" and cried. I listened to it on repeat while I showered. He was just a great, unique talent. He lives not too far from me, and Georgia loves Kenny Rogers. "Mary Did You Know" is one of my very favorite Christmas songs now. I am sure he is now singing with the angels.
