It wasn't the apple that killed them it was the sin. The Bible says the wages of sin is death. Sin has wages that need to be paid. It wasn't the apple it was turning on God. After they ate the apple and turned on God they literally couldn't help themselves but to sin and the reason they wore leaves on their bodies was because they were ashamed.

You say civilizations rise and fall but as far as I can tell the only one that hasn't fallen would be the kingdom of God. It was there before Jesus, it never stopped growing after Jesus even 2000 years later. If you turn on God you are a sinner and death is your punishment and you choose that punishment yourself because God gave us all a warning. He made the world so he could make you, and he died for you in order to show you the way. He didn't come to punishment the world, he came to save the world.

Its meant to be read more allegorically as well as literally. God knows all the animals on earth don't fit into one arch. He writes the stories in a fantasy type to confuse the people who are warping the true meaning even accidentally and to dispose the correct information to the people that are reading it correctly. God knows when they eat the apple it won't kill them but it wasn't the apple that killed them. God told them it would lead to death because God knows evil and if they ate the apple they would realize what God said wasn't accurate and they wouldn't die. God new the apple wouldnt kill them. God never said the apple would kill them he just said if they ate it, it would lead to death. God said don't eat it, they did. They sinned, learned about evil and that's what actually killed them. It was turning on God that killed them. God was right. Ever since the garden of eden man has been flawed. No real man has existed that wasn't flawed except Jesus, and they crucified him. Evil men live on earth but burn in he'll. Good men die on earth like Jesus did but live forever in the kingdom of heaven that has existed since the beginning, and will exist for eternity even after earth is gone. Thats a civilization right there that has never collapsed.

You should know the stories are written with crazy wild things on purpose that don't seem to make sense unless you trust God first even when the stories don't line up with what seems logical at first. You will discover that it is written perfectly. God never lied about the apple killing them. The point of the apple wasn't to have some stupid story about an apple. The point of the story with all the lala land stuff taken out is that turning on God will lead to your death and that its your choice to die. Death is a choice. God wants you to know you don't have to die, you can love forever with him in his everlasting civilization that has never collapsed.

I drove from northwest New Mexico to San Antonio texas and I swear my little small town in NM has more trump flags than I ever saw in texas combined.

I did see them in texas and I was driving, not riding through small town neighborhoods so I'm sure my view is skewed heavily but either way it makes me proud of my little area. The nearest walmart is about 13 miles away in the town over and you can't even get to town without seeing trump signs on both sides of the road almost nearly the entire way into town. I went through some neighborhoods in my area, one guy had more trump flags than he had house. Trump stuff literally everywhere. One guy had a bunch of trump signs in his yard and I saw his neighbor across the street had only one sign and I figured it was going to be a sleepy joe sign. Drove up, sure enough it was a trump sign.

While I was in San Antonio I was in an apartment complex that seemed to be a majority Hispanic and black apartment complex. I didn't see one biden or trump sign. Their was christmas lights though!! No one treated me differently because I was white. Infact I gave my buddies downstairs neighbor a free drink because he seemed pretty chill as unique of an individual as he was. An older gentleman. Guy kept saying to me "this nigga one of us" God I love this country 😂 I did see plenty of trump signs in rural texas. Not many people wearing masks who wee just walking around. Felt like I was in the 70s. There was also vehicles in San Antonio with trump signs. Not as many as I expected for Texas but also keep in mind I saw way WAY less Biden signs. That and I know a lot of people don't like to out signs in their yards or on their vehicles so who really knows
