Yes Tribal governments get to set their own standards for tribal membership they have a Blood degree cut off on certain rights and privileges. As for me I have 2 cdib cards one for Chickasaw and one for Choctaw but I applied to be a full citizen of the Chickasaw Nation and can not claim membership to the Choctow nation as it stands I could run for legislator but not governor because I do not have enough Chickasaw blood. As for Casino money never seen any of it and the Chickasaw nation is not set up that way. I will say the Chickasaw Nation is one of the largest employers in Oklahoma employing people of all races that’s where the Casino money goes to expand business and endeavors that are not Casino related inside and outside the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation.
