They sure are. I use to drive them around as a full time job. The car isn't their problem. It's the freedom to leave the eyes of the community and sin. They are big on accountability. So by having to get a ride, someone else is there to hold you accountable for your actions.
Late 30s also. Didn't follow politics much until Obama got in office. I was just starting a family and my first child was born in 2008. I watched everything get less affordable and more money come out of my paychecks. I couldn't afford insurance. Then I had to pay to not have it, sinking me even further. I kept losing jobs because places were laying off half the company and I was always at the bottom of the totem pole. I woke up and started paying attention because the Obama presidency was destroying me financially. Trump was a godsend!
I did the same. As bad as the dancing was, the camera work was gut wrenching. The camera focused a lot of attention on the girls public areas, chests and butts. I had to turn it off quickly so I don't know the story, but even if it has a critical message about exploiting young girls as they claim, there is no reason for the camera to be focused where it was. Nobody can convince me this wasn't made for pedophiles.
I can't believe it took that long either, but at least it was raised! I donated to his legal fund and then again to his bail fund. We have to support our own!
