Tbh, I don’t really know where to start either aside form getting involved with local school board politics. It would be nice to hear or I guess read someone’s thoughts on here that does have the experience to provide guidance. I’m going to read up on the matter as well as formal debate, argument formulation, and a hell of a lot of research to prepare for whatever I can do.
Love it. Let’s get it. Any preparation done is better than “let’s just wait”. It couldn’t hurt at all to brainstorm solutions for 2022 and on (GEOTUS second term or not). The left eat sleep and breathe political revenge. We’re better than them and it’s a disservice not to prepare
Of all the ways to tap into anger suggested on TD this is prolly the least attractive but IMO extremely important and is a great long term play. Utilize the anger to continue the legacy GEOTUS has left us (after his second term? Something in me is still convinced something will happen). Push efforts to a new party, primary and vote all backstabbers out. If grass roots effort has gotten super progressive candidates in we can do a heck of a lot more
How do we start? Let’s get it. Saw earlier posts about political involvement and meaningful change from the ground up too - those who have the time (and let’s be real lots of ppl do have the time it just might be time they’d rather use relaxing..) should get involved. Ever little change, commitment, and push builds.
Do you have suggestions for how we formulate a “chain of command” of sorts? To brainstorm an effective mission statement and plan for today forward? I think our biggest issue is we’re all waiting for someone to step up and lead or at least provide a clear course of action we can all rally behind.
Very true - think a lot of people right now are frustrated, confused, disappointed, etc so it’s hard to stay on track. Nonetheless we should never forget and continue to push forward because this is fraud in the highest degree
No I’ve been extremely high energy regarding GEOTUS. What I’m asking is what actual avenues are there that don’t include the actions I mentioned above. I put not a doomer because I wanted to preface it with I’m full Trump train. I was taken aback by the SCOTUS move, not so much turtle CCP Mitch. Apologies if it came across otherwise - just wanted to gain perspective from those who know more than me
That’s totally your right if you want to take it. But what if I don’t want to? How can my employer force me? I’m not forced to get a flu shot or forced to have a healthy diet to prevent obesity or not smoke to prevent heart disease.
This may help the oldies on here.. I didn’t have my password saved anywhere other than auto fill (I’m dumb I know) and to add insult to injury I never added an email. When I went to my saved passwords however and searched thedonald it was still there just not prompting an auto fill.
Have you tried adjusting the search filter on YouTube for most viewed etc rather than the standard filter they apply? That’s how I found all the lefty reeeeactions to 2016
