I did some research on this that few other people seemed to have done.
The store owner of Cup Foods (where the incident happened), Mahmoud Abumayyaleh, he co-founded the Brooklyn Park Islamic Center with Nausheena Ali Hussain.
Nausheena is deputy director of Minnesota CAIR, Bush Foundation Leadership Fellow, Minnesota DNC delegate, served as an election judge, and is on a committee for Headwaters Foundation (a BLM donor before the Floyd incident), and helped get Ilhan Omar elected. She's done at least one TEDx talk too.
It's interesting that this happened outside her business partner's store.

Fuck Microsoft and fuck Windows. You have NO idea what's going on inside that black box of closed source spyware. Any privacy/security measures you put in place are moot if the system you're running them on can't be trusted. Ditch Windows and install Linux. It's much better anyway (and by the way, tons of Steam games work great on Linux now thanks to Steam Proton)
Also, I recommend looking into Pine64. They make the Pine Phone (several linux distros available for it), the Pinebook ARM laptop, the Pinetime smart watch, and other stuff. Cool company and very transparent. I have the Pinephone and Pinebook myself.

Many of us were looking for a good Facebook alternative for keeping in touch with IRL friends. MeWe is a LOT like Facebook, which makes it accessible to normies.
Gab is more like a hybrid of Twitter and Reddit.
They both fill different niches.

They don't actually advertise their platform as a free speech platform. Their shtick is "No Ads, No Spyware, No BS" and that they don't sell your data. No mention of free speech anywhere
Everyone moved over to Gab since Parler got taken offline. It's a way better platform anyway.
I've personally seen two of the groups I was a member of get deleted (both pro-Trump and had nothing to do with "Stop the Steal" .. just general pro-Trump groups).
