You misspelled the name of the United Nations hospital branch.

It's called the Chinese Healthcare Organization, or C.H.O. for short.

I still feel the damage on (what I believe to be) my very soul from my Red Pill moment, since it was the same time that my closest friends from college all called me a "Nazi brownshirt" and said I was a "disgusting racist who they only hung out with because I tagged along with some of the other group members". I ended up leaving that group after they refused to apologize, and I've basically never spoken to any of them since. Because of that experience, I realized that there are some people who are too far gone, and that trying to FORCE someone to take the Red Pill can easily lead to an outright and total rejection of the Red Pill in its entirety, so it is sometimes better to stay silent or outright ignore/block people than try to wake them up.

The emotional wounds has lessened over time and as I've found other things to focus on post-college (like some high-paying jobs that allowed me to fully pay off my student loans and my first car within 4 years after graduating by living frugally), but I have a gut feeling that the mental scars will never completely fade away.

The key thing to remember with the Red Pill: The human mind is an incredibly resilient thing, able to bounce back from anything and able to literally change the way your body functions with enough practice/belief, but it still needs some kind of anchor or focus when it's reacting to severe shock/trauma (AKA "a Red Pill moment"), lest you lose yourself and fall into madness. You can't force anyone to undergo this process, THEY MUST CHOOSE TO TAKE THE FIRST STEP THEMSELVES. Only after that can we help them recover their balance and rediscover both themselves and the world at large.

That's fair, and I do prefer an "actual campaign" complete with gaffes and nonsensical proposals over a bunch of openly corrupt criminals describing in Spanish how they're going to ignore the Constitution to push their authoritarian beliefs on the entire country the second they get any semblance of power.

I still prefer Trump over any of the DNC's Presidential Primary "actual campaigns" (particularly since all of those "actual campaigns" have gone on to ENDORSE the very same "openly corrupt criminals" that screwed them over), but I don't mind seeing actual Classical Liberals or Political Moderates being willing to reach across the aisle and give credit where credit is due.

NewVoatAccountName 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. They're a family of classical liberals who happened to also be lifelong geeks, and who absolutely despise everything the comicbook industry has turned into, so I find that I can trust their reporting to be relatively clean and free of bias (at least before their occasional rants on topics they care about), and unlike the mainstream media (and Tim Pool to a lesser degree), they don't appear to suffer from #TrumpDeranementSyndrome, so they can still maintain their sanity and see the bigger picture without being pedantic/sycophantic about our current President.

I like watching more right-wing folks like Razorfist and Mr Obvious as well, but it's good to spread your sources out so that you don't get completely trapped in a Groupthink bubble.

If anything could awaken him about the eternal failure that is Communism, it would be "seeing just how much better his companies will function in a loving capitalist state like Texas over a hateful socialist state like Commiefornia".

To be fair to Kanye, he was locked in an insane asylum against his will for several weeks after he stated his mind on Trump and asked for the country to come together, only for him to immediately go meet with Trump as soon as they let him out.

For someone so deep in the Hollywood bubble that they married a Kardashian, that's a pretty huge wakeup call about whose love is genuine, who is just riding on your coattails in search of success, and who hates your guts. In the old days, they might have even described that wakeup call as a "Come to Jesus" moment.

The moment immediately after taking the red pill is a very delicate time, as you're essentially dropping all of your assumptions and rebuilding your root philosophies from scratch. Any trauma from the red-pill-inducing event or from the communal backlash after taking the red pill can carry over into your post-red-pill mind and fundamentally shift your core values exponentially farther than you could normally change your beliefs over time.

I'm willing to believe that the red rose is the closest thing to a red pill that still remains in Twitter's emoji database, since the mainstream media has claimed that the "red pill" is code for "alt-right yahtzees" for years now.

Musk has been on Joe Roan's podcast, he's publicly supported Trump, and he's called out Commiefornia for its authoritarian laws and its draconian taxes. He's not going to turn Communist any time soon, especially while he's responsible for managing the several multi-billion-dollar-value companies he founded (Tesla, SpaceX, etc.).

NewVoatAccountName 7 points ago +7 / -0

I'm willing to believe that he used that red rose emoji solely because it's the closest emoji in Twitter's database to a "red pill" (since Twitter likely removed the actual "red pill" emoji sometime over the past few years because the mainstream media had a constant hissy-fit about the "red pill" being code for "alt-right yahtzees").

Andrew Yang had maybe 1 or 2 reasonable ideas, but even his understanding about automation was heavily flawed, he regularly posed for some frankly-disturbing photos/videos (see: the "Whipped Cream incident"), his slogan (Make America Think Hard) was VERY clearly just an attempt to change Trump's slogan to a acronym that read "MATH", and he NEVER gave any description of where his "$1,000-a-month checks" would come FROM or how the distribution of said checks would be paid for and run.

He's the same as Tulsi Gabbard: Yes, in a few areas, he is less crazy than other DNC candidates, BUT HE'S STILL CRAZY AND STILL SHOULDN'T BE ANYWHERE NEAR THE WHITE HOUSE.

NewVoatAccountName 2 points ago +2 / -0

I personally don't like the fact that he used the same "red rose" emoji commonly used by Marxists/socialists/Communists, but considering that he posted this on Twitter, it was probably the closest thing in Twitter's database to a "red pill", so it's of little-to-no concern for now.

They say you have to wear a mask.

They don't say what kind of mask or what kind of design on the mask.

Do what the punk rock community constantly talks about doing: "Express yourself"

Believe me, despite the insanity of what went down, it's still one of the LESSER crimes committed by Obama and his administration.

Here's a blog detailing ~200 illegal and/or unconstitutional actions done by Obama during his time in/around the White House.

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

"Fast and Furious" was supposedly the codename of an operation to sell guns to Mexico. According to Obama's ATF (when they were in full Cover-Your-Ass Lie-Through-Your-Teeth mode), the operation supposedly had many ways to track the sold guns, so that local police and federal/international agents could map out the cartels and get the guns back. In reality, the ATF broke countless laws just to set up this "operation" by buying/making/rebranding/stealing all the guns, only for the guns to immediately get cleaned of all trackers almost the instant the cartels took them away from the ATF.

We only found out about the entire scandal after the cartels killed a Border Patrol agent, and the gun used in that murder was traced back to those ATF-approved Obama-secretly-approved totally-illegal gun-trafficking deals from that "operation".

Obama was always going to be served a healthy dose of punishment, this just gives Mexico a way to get compensation/restitution for his crimes against them.

Mexico ALREADY IS the wall. They've closed their northern border due to the China Virus, they've locked down their southern border due to the massive convoys of people trying to illegally pass through Mexico to go to the US, and they've MASSIVELY increased their spending on both their army and their border guard to crack down on both illegals and gangsters trying to sneak into the US.

They didn't want to pay for the PHYSICAL wall, so they're paying for the ECONOMIC wall (USMCA) and the CRIMINAL wall (Mexico, Central America, and the non-Venezuelan parts of South America beginning to strictly enforce their own borders).

I'll give you the same advice I give to those in LA: Stay safe, live as frugally as you can to save up a cash reserve, start looking for ways to get your family out of there, and when you do move out, try to aim for housing in a MAGA-red district/state from 2016/2018.

Texas is already re-opening businesses that can do curbside takeout, Florida is starting to reopen its beaches, and most non-Democrat states appear to be ramping up for an early-May restart.

So long as your state/local government hasn't taken this opportunity to reveal their authoritarian/tyrannical fantasies, yes, you are.

The generational term is "millennial", not "millennium", but otherwise a very good post.

This is absolutely the right move. When someone is breaking away from the propaganda, there are three key factors determining the success of their wake-up attempt:

1, They must have had some kind of traumatic/shocking event shatter some part of their long-standing world view (in this case, "your chosen candidate being backstabbed again, and then that candidate being forced to endorse the clearly-incompetent alternative" would be enough).
2, They must have access to fully-documented-and-sourced information disproving the propaganda which they can freely browse/study/crunch at their own pace.
3, Most importantly, THEY have to CHOOSE to research the info OF THEIR OWN FREE WILL. Attempting to force-feed them 'red-pills' can have the opposite effect, causing them to reject the information outright and purposely avoid those topics in the future. NO ONE can force you to wake up, YOU have to MAKE THAT CHOICE YOURSELF.

If she doesn't like Tim Pool, other good options include Philip DeFranco, Dave Rubin, and Joe Rogan. The goal is NOT to show her right-wing or deeply-conservative videos, but to introduce her to fellow Bernie supporters who can best show her how Trump's platform is actually very similar to Bernie's in a lot of ways. That way, she's still in a comfortable environment, but she's being given easy access to plenty of information disproving the propaganda.

Communists denouncing the DNC is the (relatively) easy part.

Getting them to move away from Communism and accept Trump/MAGA is the hard part.

It was a joke comment. Notice the <3 at the end of my post.

As a Florida Man myself, I am fond of the Florida Man meme, and I thought I could share it in good fun here. Apparently, I need to more clearly mark my jokes for people here to get the humor...

It was a joke. Look at the heart on the end.

I'll go back and add a /s to the end of my comment, since apparently several people didn't see the humor in my words...

Also, I may or may not be remembering the "schools among first to reopen" thing correctly: I remember there were a lot of news articles summarizing DeSantis' statements from his staff meeting a few days ago about reopening the state, but I never actually listened to the full briefing and I never read the planned steps in full, so I can't be certain that I'm even accurate in my understanding.
