You can buy a Pixel (Google) phone with these operating systems installed on eBay, or you can buy the device as is and follow the instructions on the site to degoogle the phone (Kinda hard to do, I just went with the eBay way)
Or if you don't want to buy a Pixel device since it is proprietary Google hardware:
Lineage OS is a great option too
I'm late to the party here but I'll give you my 2c anyway
1.Linux phones aren't exactly daily driver material yet, however the software is moving to that point quickly.
2.The Librem 5 is 4 times the cost of the Pinephone, and from what I've heard even after you buy it it could take a year+ to get it in your hands. As for the Pinephone, after you preorder it you can get it in a little over a month.
3.The Librem 5 does have slighly better specs (CPU, Camera are better), so it's up to you to decide if the hardware improvements are worth the extra $600.
4.These two phones are still in beta, so they won't be a perfect user experience like iOS or Android
Honestly if you're ok with a little longer wait I'd go with the Librem 5, since it is a better product.
If you're looking for a main, daily driver phone to use, I'd look into de-googled android for the time being.
Can't believe some Republican 2024 polls have her above 5% π
