I agree. We all know that Trump isn't going to just get on Gab or any other social media for nothing. Torba had to give up equity and since he refused, we will now see a new social media made for Trump, by Trump. IMO, this is a good scenario because we need a network of alt tech social media, just like Big Tech has a network.
I just find it weird that Gab has overwhelming support when they lose access to accounts to hackers, but when Parler gets all the posts and metadata scraped from the site, then people need to run like hell from it.
Moral of the story is, don't link any personal info to any social media account you use for political purposes.
don't know why you're being downvoted, it's true. People are saying Parler is bad because they had an information leak. The current situation with Gab is much worse, hackers have access to numerous accounts, maybe even every account.
The more sites that allow free speech, the better.
Why do you think Matze was a standup guy steering Parler in the right direction? I'm not sure why there is so much slander of Parler? I deleted my account because they've proven they cannot protect their users info, but firing Matze was a good thing as far as I can tell.
Could this be why the former CEO was removed?
