The Dems are behind Biden to knock out Sanders knowing full well that Biden's about to fall anyway. When Biden drops out, Hillary will enter the race and will use the modest savior narrative. She just HAS to come along and save the Democratic party you guise!
They're terrified of the finality of a Capitalism Vs. Socialism battle, because the Establishment Dems whole goal was to incrementally introduce Communism without the public being aware of it. If Sanders faces Trump and we get the answer to "what the country wants", there's no way for the Establishment to recover.
