So this still sets a dangerous precedent. Basically Trump will probably get lucky and not be charged but they are still saying it's constitutional to impeach and try a former official/ now private citizen. Hopefully comes back to bite them like it did when they changed votes from 2/3 to simply majority

One of two things will happen: during discovery giuliani will prove there was fraud, or we will learn he had nothing and basically strung us along for 3 months. In the case of the latter, good he should be sued.

This is like in the handmaid's tale when all the women's rights start getting taken away and everyone's like nah they can't do that, how can they do that it's illegal? Then gilead just does it anyway

Who gives a shit. Bump stocks are a novelty toy. They aren't accurate. If you can't pull the trig fast enough and with enough precision then you need to hit the range and practice more. Plus there are ways to replicate bump fire without the bump stocks

Most conservative constitutional scholars I listen to have said this is completely unconstitutional and if they do this Trump can and will sue them, which if we weren't in clown world would get it thrown out and vindicate him of this most recent impeachment hoax. But we do live in clown world so I'm not going to hold my breath.

Let's make a new one that says only property owners and/or full time employed can vote. That at least eliminates the gibs me dat mentality

I really like where your head is at with this. I've been thinking along similar lines since November 3 but didn't know where to go with it. I thought the answer was getting involved in local politics, and that might help, but it's not the overall solution. Your line of thinking, although daunting, makes much more sense. Our founding fathers created an entire nation. I think there are enough of us with what it takes to band together and make this happen. It won't happen overnight. It could take years, even decades. It took almost a century for communism to get to where it is in the US today. We can do it too, under budget and ahead of schedule. It's late here so I'm calling it a night but I'm brainstorming some ideas I will PM you tomorrow. This has to be very delicately approached if it is to succeed. But I think we can do it. What better way to beat communism than with genuine free market capitalism. Cheers!

We need a dot win community for each state so it will be easier to gather and come up with solutions to these problems locally then convene our local groups nationally to actually make it happen
