That’s actually the shit assimilating into its natural form.

Shirt on the right is at least forthcoming and honest about what they actually do.

Right...so the joke is that fake news media would use the translation and tiptoe on saying allahu akbar.

"To safeguard the integrity of our intelligence community, the DNI must insist that, when it comes to intelligence, there is simply no place for politics ever”

Really fucking rich

Take pictures, also get an arborist to value the tree. Ammo in case you need to demand compensation or enter into legal proceedings

So what. Treating those who don't even have a legal right to be here better than any citizen, much less some of our most downtrodden is abhorrent and inexcusable.

Anonymous discussion app for white collar professionals (primarily accounting, consulting, law, banking). Actually is nice to have a platform to vent, get advice, discuss more taboo subjects like compensation (or at least have more data points). Level of candor hard to find elsewhere. Bowls can be industry-specific, company-specific, etc.

Politics aside, it is a decent app, but given nature of the app and a user base primarily in mid-late 20’s, wouldn’t exactly categorize it as “zoomer nonsense”.

Unfairly vilified by the left, but that doesn't mean we need to dick ride them either. Law enforcement is going to enforce unjust laws. If tyranny ever comes, they will be among its first enablers.

Pretty innocuous tweets, but oh so satisfying to see then eat their own.

Putin is incredibly sharp and a top tier troll. I wouldn't say I "like" Putin, but I can respect that he puts his country and its people first, as any world leader should do. Sadly, ours does not.

Did anyone actually read the article? She's not opposed to it on substance. She just has concern over the wording because as written, it could expose the state to litigation or being struck down. Her point is that some of the language needs less ambiguity.

"Reports no one will ever read, tax forms and spreadsheets no one will ever care for". As a CPA who previously worked in audit, you described it exactly. Literally spend hours and hours and hours doing all of this work to produce an audit opinion letter to be placed deep in the footnotes and ignored.

All of that work you did is archived, retained for seven years, and then deleted entirely.

So yes, I get what you're saying, but being a CPA is still an honest and valuable profession. I've never contemplated suicide or mass murder, and my existence isn't "null".

And again, I do agree with your premise that there is a lot of meaningless work that isn't intrinsically rewarding. I've actually decided to leave public accounting in part for that reason, and moving into a role that is intrinsically rewarding is one of the main things I'm looking for.

However, I think your conclusion is a bit extreme and well within the realm of hyperbole.

"Donald Trump's net worth dropped by about $700m to $2.3bn (£1.65bn) during his time as president, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index".

I agree with your point, but I think you've got the numbers backwards.
