All societies have an elite, but Europe LOVES authorities and their Herr Doktors.

The problem with America is that we are becoming MORE like Europe in attitude towards experts and elites.

Perot was a self-funded billionaire, liked by many from every walk of life, treated semi-reasonably by the Media, but when it came down to it, he only got 1/6th of the popular vote.

All MAGA Third Party Candidates at all levels will be incessantly attacked by the Media, both Parties, the CCP, and radical Lawfare groups.

And before that, Dems and Reps in office will rewrite the already super stringent rules about getting on the ballot making it all but impossible to even get listed on it. "Voter Confusion" "Misleading Extremist Candidates"

The Greens and Libertarians are sideshows for the big parties, MAGA is a threat. Third Parties are already treated like shit, the Establishment won't allow a MAGA party to qualify for the ballot, and the Courts will uphold them.

Once upon a time there was two Kings who hated English Liberty, thought they were the state, had the whole of the Court behind them, and they still got overthrown.

Another thought his colonies existed only for his benefit. He had the world Superpower Navy and the 2nd or 3rd Largest, Most Modern Army in the world.

He was beaten by a bunch of Hardscrabble Farmers and Sneaky Smugglers wearing Racoon caps firing Blunderbusses.

It's already happening. Huge wins in Georgia these past few days. That's why they're bringing Bush and Bonehead on the News Shows in desperation, to talk about "Reasonable Gun Control" and "Comprehensive Immigration Reform".

RINOs everywhere are panicking, for many decades Republican voters just wrote a check and voted, they didn't actually participate in the party and make the policies and rules, so the RINOs could control everything with a handful of friends, relatives, and donors. Now they're losing that control because people are showing up.

The Founders warned about eternal vigilance AND the need for participation, not just bitching on Facebook and writing the occasional $20 donation.

Methinks Joshua wants Absolute Monarchy. Now I understand what he meant when he called the Constitution and the Early US Republic "Stage One Cancer".

You can't get more anti-American than that. It's pissing on the Colonists and everything they stood for - Individual Rights and Constitutional Government, not "The State, it is Me" of Hapsburg or Bourbon Bleeders.

NoCoupForYou 1 point ago +1 / -0

The problem with all Monarchs is you get a good one, maybe three in a row, and then you get a Stuart or an Irene (the wife of the last Isaurian Emperor of Byzantium, the Isaurians were totally based Family. Irene was bitch graven image worshiper who killed heroes and invited Muslim invasions to keep power and even blinded her own son).

Completely incorrect. We had the Articles of Confederacy for a few years, then the Constitution since 1792. Yes, the Left has exploited loopholes and the Founder (who themselves admitted) had some oversights, but they'd be astounded to see their Constitution last as long as it did.

European countries have all had many entirely new governments since 1800, with entirely different Constitutions, not just different "Legal Interpretations".

Looking at the EU and previous regimes in Europe, I'll take a hard pass as an unapologetic Anglo-Saxon (not Continental) with no time for Sartre, Foucault, Heidegger, or Lagarde or the many other whackos that aren't on my brain right now. No rule of Burghermeisters, Bluebloods, or Bishops, thanks.

2
NoCoupForYou 2 points ago +2 / -0

That may be true, but we get to write a new one that can close the loopholes and oversights. All of the Founders had no idea it would last anything like this long, and some of them said they'd be surprised if it lasted more than a couple of generations.

"The right of individuals to bear the same military style firearms as the National Armed Forces and Law Enforcement shall never be infringed for any reason. During Natural or Manmade Disasters, Firearms can never be seized or prohibited for any reason."

No Kings or Racial Socialists for me, if that's what you're suggesting. I'm a Billy Boy and won't put up with Stuarts or Jesuits Inspired Paramilitary Gangs ("Himmler is my Loyola" - Hitler)

A Republic that lasted almost 230 years under one Constitution is pretty good. Now we know how to write an even better one that will last 300 years next time. France and Germany are like on number 4 or 5 in the past two centuries.

The Day after an America First party is created, every single damn state, in a bipartisan manner, with raise the number of signatures for any Federal office by millions of signatures, or half the adult population, whichever is larger. And increase filing fees, signatures, etc. to run for everything from Dogcatcher to State Legislator by at least double or triple.

"I'm so proud to work, as a Democrat, with the GOP, in helping prevent Voter Confusion and weakening Misleading Extremist Parties"

And don't think for a second the Courts will prevent that. We aren't the Libertarian or Green Party, but a real threat.

+1. So old, I remember when Stern was funny and obnoxious instead of the sell out wuss cuck.

I listened to Rush on my lunch hour on and off since the late 90s, and I never heard him say "There are NO good Republicans".

NoCoupForYou 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes they did - one time. Unlike Grandpa's generation, we believed sending in a $20 check and voting every two years was enough.

The GOP got cucked because we let the Country Club Republicans take over by being lazy.

Every Founding Father explicitly warned about what would happen if we were disengaged.

This is verifiable - in 1960, 90% of party precincts were occupied. In 2020, only 50%.

The Country Club GOP just got clobbered in Georgia. Why else is Dubya and Bonehead out on the Sunday Shows whinging about Compassionate Conservativism being needed? The RINO jig is up.

Enough with the Buttcoin and "I got my bank account and passport from Hong Kong ---- uh, update, I mean South America --- I'm leaving" quitter loserdom, or the Desperately Hoped For By The Hoover Institution Big Walloping Act So They Have An Excuse crap.

There is no one or two days of big whoop gonna result in the Globalists all getting scared, it's the excuse they desperately want.

Great comment, thanks for this. Jefferson certainly didn't think SCOTUS was a co-equal branch of government, and I believe a few other Founders were appalled at Marbury.

I was reading about "The switch in time that saved 9", and the Ohio case where the farmer grew more food than "permitted" under the New Deal Laws, fed that food to his own animals, but was found "Guilty" of violating the interstate commerce clause, even though the extra food never entered Commerce at all, not even local commerce. The Court said just by growing his extra crops, he impacted national market prices.

My favorite is when you wait to get on the plane, all the seats in the terminal are blocked every-other-one. But the bus rides to the long term parking aren't, nor of course the cheek-to-jowl seats in Economy.

My second favorite is the magical HEPA filter. Funny, I remember my first plane ride when smoking was still legal, and the filters back then didn't have these magic powers to completely cleanse the air. I also remember some flights with barfers that the HEPA filter didn't whisk away an hour after the vomit was cleaned up.

One thing I always wondered: Lawyers and Academics basically "Control" how the law is interpreted, the system behind it.

Shouldn't the method of interpreting the law be set by the legislature and not the unelected, unaccountable BAR?

"All legal conflicts must be adjudicated using 'textual' philosophy" - The Congress.

Rhode Island was messed up, anybody remember around 7-8PM EST when Trump was barely losing to Biden, then after 10PM Biden suddenly rose several points?

I remember it being fairly close in --- NY?! --- too until the Great Witching Hour after 10PM

I also think shennanigans happened in Ohio and Florida. On example is Seminole county where bizarrely every Republican won almost every halfway competitive race, but Trump lost by a narrow margin.

How was Timbuktu founded? It was one of the last places to get reliable, large amounts of water before Arab Traders took Black slaves north to Algeria and Tunisia and Libya.

When Europeans first rounded the Bight of Benin, they found lots of Arab Muslims buying and selling slaves in huge markets.

That might be what is being set up now. A move to make the Democrats into the "Non Crazy" Party by hailing several RINO defectors, and casting the GOP as extremists. The whole media will agree.

Yup. Ever heard of FARC? Real IRA or INLA? PKK? Shining Path? Hezbollah? All of those organizations were or are involved with Drug Dealing.

Hell, the "Golden Triangle" is practically synonymous with the drug trade and all insurgent groups in SE Asia funded themselves on Opium. And of course all most factions in Afghanistan and many in Africa.

Might explain why Bush and Bonehead are making rounds on the Sunday Propaganda Shows all of a sudden.
