This is a great opportunity for folks to wake up and eliminate the middle man. The products we want from the companies we want to support can almost all be purchased directly from the manufacturer, which eliminates the Amazon/retailers' middle man cut of the profits. Paying for shipping and/or waiting a few extra days is worth it to know that we are putting more money in the pocket of based companies.

If, and that is a big if, the FBI did take over the site, they would be able to control the information shared/received in the community by deleting/stickying items to form their desired narrative.
But that risk exists no matter who has the keys to the castle. Anyone with mod/admin powers can shape a narrative, we just trust them not to do so. Until I see evidence otherwise, I'm going to assume the site is still controlled by deplorables.
