Excellent post. I mentioned listening to Seb Gorka over on the GAW who said this very thing. Get involved in local politics. You can make a difference there and people’s minds can be changed. I know a lot of friends my age who have kids. I know covid and lockdowns brought them around to homeschooling and they realized their kids were being brainwashed in public schools. So they needed the kick in the head (lockdowns) to make them realize they COULD do it and did. There is always a silver lining, even right now it’s hard to see.
Big things we can do right now-We can stop shopping at China (Walmart and Amazon for starters.) We can shop local. We can order directly from Made in USA retailers. We can stop using social media (trust me, haven’t used FB in almost 8 years and I’ve missed nothing. I still have friends. I never got into the rest of social media.) It’s ok. You’ll still be able to talk with family and friends. A cool thing is to use snail mail. Surprise your people with REAL mail. Little gifts. Cards. Photos. It will make them and you feel good but also-solidify your relationship more concretely than a “like” online. Start going back to church. That’s a good way to get involved in your local community. Get involved in volunteering. Get involved in your own neighborhood by setting a good example. Work hard. Remember your work ethic. It will impact others.
Be a beacon for hope and peace. This is a movement. We’re better than them. We’re are good people.
Last thing- wait for the BIG VOICE. I think President Trump has a lot more he wants to do. I have a lot of faith in him and won’t ever abandon the president who changed my life.

Lol Tom Cruise was right in his rant about needing to save the industry. He knows how badly they’ve been hit. They were doing poorly before covid. Remember going to the movies before say, January last year? Never full. Usually pretty empty. They’ve been dying a slow, painful death and they’re never going to return to “normal” because we’ve adjusted. Staying home, feet up, drinking a nice drink and eating a nice snack, not having to listen to people talking and seeing their phones light up is so much better than wasting money at the theater.

Have you ever gotten frozen food and found crunchy thick frost inside the pkg on the food? Yeah, it was thawed and refrozen.
