You can be a prepper in an urban area, but you need to stockpile exponentially more ammo. And you'll need a vehicle that can exit without paved roads.
The benefit of living in the country is its said that any doomsday event will take 4 to 5 days for food supplies in urban areas to run low and cause panic, after that a mass exodus. Keep your head on a swivel and move out prior to those five days and you'll probably do ok. I still think its easier to live in the country and not deal with the mass hysteria.

While not a line item veto, it forces congress to vote again on the options he found wasteful. They will also vote to raise the amount to Americans to 2k. Not an ideal situation, but i think he played a good hand for the one he was dealt with this.
