I had a great time in the military, and i would like to share two quick stories with you. These are stories from being witty and quick, not disobedient.

First, i was farmed out as a driver to work with a medical team during a training exercise. We had a brand new 2nd lieutenant. The 2lt had an opinion of something, i can't remember what, but it wasn't based on sound logic. The 2lt said, well im the OIC here. I heckled the 2lt and explained to him that as a Specialist I outrank him. He asked how do i figure and i replied, "oh thats easy, because I've already been promoted three more times than you."

Second, once i was working as cadre for a land nav course. I heard a 2lt talking asking about a female soldier whom hasn't finished the course yet. He said he was trying to help her by starting her on her way through the first way point and then left her to finish the course on her own. I mumble just loud enough for several near me to hear, "If you left her she's probably better off sir."
