People saying it should have been assembled already need to realize these lawsuits are being filed at the state level. You can't take an all-star lawyer from NY and expect them to do well in Michigan. It doesn't work that way.

I agree that the judicial system generally produces better outcomes than mob justice (obviously), but there are definitely times when the justice system fails and obvious criminals walk free.
What's interesting to me is the modern double standard. BLM is basically lynching people right now and burning everything in sight and the media defends their actions. And any Americans who defend themselves are called racist. Really interesting times we're living in.

Where’s the evidence that Lieber was associated with viral research? His student was caught trying to steal vials associated with cancer research in his bag. There doesn’t seem to be any evidence he was involved with the bioweapons program in Wuhan. Not to mention that field is outside his area of expertise (he’s more of a chemist).
Edit: I’m not saying he isn’t guilty of aiding espionage (he is), I’m saying the connection to the Wuhan level 4 biolab is spurious at best. This is outside of his field of expertise. His timely arrest is probably because the govt was conducting a dragnet operation on anyone related to Wuhan.
