LOL! It's gonna be awesome!
The dollar collapses, the economy collapses, people start murdering each other in the streets.
GLORIOUS HYPER-VIOLENCE!
It's going to be just like "The Purge" but without all the sirens.
Unless you live near me in which case there will be sirens...
That's nothing. Right now there's a barge full of methanol that broke loose and is now wedged up against a dam in Kentucky.
If it goes boom then the dam will disappear and folks will die.
But it's not being talked about anywhere on the news.
Holy shit.
Now I'm curious. The Republicans also have an online donation operation like ActBlue, has anyone run the same checks on them as well?
I'd find it kind of doubtful that they would be doing the same but wherever there are shitloads of money there are greedy apolitical charlatans eager to make a buck laundering drug cartel cash.
The first thing Trump's lawyers should push for - all the way to SCOTUS - is that every bit of this shit-show trial be live-streamed on the internet.
ALL OF IT!
And if the judge refuses to do so, immediately file for change of venue and file an emergency appeal to SCOTUS completely bypassing the entire NY justice system.
NC has always been under constant invasion by Yankees from NJ & NY.
We've got them segregated in the Triangle area - mostly in Cary - for now but sometimes they break out of quarantine into rural areas only to never be seen again, especially in those NC counties with lots of large hog farms...
This is some bullshit. Watch - not one single member of congress will do fuck-all about this except maybe bitch about it on social media.
Fuck these assholes.
The rule of law no longer exists in America so feel free to do whatever you want.
Yes but also no.
A lot of Silicon Valley companies kept large amounts of money in SVB and now anything over $250k is gone. Also SVB had purchased other banks across the country and those "branches" are now closing.
Optics are everything and right now the big money folks' accountants are scrambling to divest themselves of anything to do with SVB, which can cause panic within the banking industry itself.
Sure, not an issue with the banking system itself but more of an issue with the overall perception of the banking system.
Nah, I got them all when the local K-Mart had a going-out-of-business sale.
