So, someone I follow on Instagram posted a bunch of screenshots in one of his stories outlining how Trump is "racist" and I wanted to debunk them.
I have screenshots, but I will type out the claims I need help with, since I don't know which image service is okay to use (I have four, and wanted to upload all four in an album).
The claims:
1973: The Nixon Administration sued Trump for refusing to rent to black people. 1980s: Trump's casinos were accused of hiding the black staff when Trump visited. 1989: Trump took out a full-page ad, arguing for the death penalty for a group of black men (the 'Central Park Five'), effectively putting a bounty on their heads, and plaguing them with a lifetime of death threats. He was sued by the Justice Dept for discrimination. 1991: "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kinds of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes efery day...I think that the [black] guy is lazy. And it's probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is." 2010: Trump argued in favor of segregating Muslims in Lower Manhattan
There's more, but they're more recent and are the ones that have been debunked over and over again. Seeing these bullshit posts on Instagram made me SO angry, and as soon as I can get some facts, I will make a post on Instagram tagging the idiot that posted this, so that he'll know the truth.
Arguing with some Swedish asshole on Twitter. Demanded that I offer three intelligent ideas the right has. I offered personal responsibility, independence and frugality. According to him, those are values, not ideas.
So, I'm ashamed to even have to ask this, but do you guys have any actual ideas?
