Handhelds lasers capable of blinding you faster than you can blink can be purchased off the rack for $300-400. Antifa have finally begun employing them, and they've been used to great effect in Egypt, and Syria. Since then laser tech has only gotten better - cheaper and more powerful.
Right now, tech for the high watt handheld options only exist in green, blue, and IR. That means that eye protection that filler those wave length while permitting yellow, red, and the fringe of the greens exist and offer excellent protection.
Eyepro cost $40-60. Buy them now. If they go out of stock buy laboratory grade options in the $250 range that are a magnitude greater protection.
Please. If everyone sports protection, lasers disappear as an effective option. Links below cover Blue, Green and IR simultaneously. I am begging you, buy eye protection. If you are or know LEOs, make sure they carry self bought eyepro if their agency doesn't issue protective options. Please!
