When I watched this I was strongly reminded of a Reddit post several years back by someone who turned out to have CO poisoning. He had initially posted to a legal forum because he was convinced he was being stalked.
Weird that police would immediately conclude (or at least agree) that she was likely being monitored everywhere, rather than at least also suggest she look into some medical possibilities too. Still doesn't explain no cams though.
You know they've lost the plot entirely when even reddit has stopped taking their crap.
