If you look at the live threads during Trump's pressures, I think they hang on every word to find a hidden meaning. Just like this initial comment in this thread about trump mentioning q-tip as a reference , I think the community sometimes is trying too hard to say find hidden meaning in Trump's cabinet that tie to a Q post.
Your statement is definitely valid. I think that's my worry as well, but what I"m hoping is that they still are acting as a knowledge transfer to people. I'm seeing the same QAnon pages sharing information about Hillary's emails, spygate, and other things to others and any of that sharing can be helpful.. I agree that I have my suspicions, but there is value to spreading around the information in massive waves.
Side note - mid 30s Az native here - what the hell is the Arizona Mirror?
Well here's the thing - I've been with this donald community since 2016. I was helping meme, I was reading every wikileaks email cluster trying to make sense. I've only spent the last 4 weeks or so getting into the Q world. I don't always agree with the conclusions that communities come to when interpreting the message, but I do think these Q posts are too specific and suggestive to just be a troll.
Here's the thing. When wikileaks dropped another bundle of emails, I would read in the comments on td about the "weaponized autism" of those people that would read through all the emails and whatnot. I think this Qanon group is definitely just a variation of that.
Your comment is also the BIGGEST point selling point. The Q group support our president, they point out and share information to all, and they are hopeful and God fearing people. I'm 34 and most of my friends just ARENT religious anymore. This is a community where their heart is in the right place. There are people on here that believe in pizzagate...well the Q group takes it the next steps. There definitely is a high risk of confirmation bias sometimes...but the best thing is these people are calling out politicians as hypocritical, celebs as false gods and try to inspire hope that our voices matter and things will get better.
The Q group is definitely an extension of any Trump supporter/patriots...together we're fighting to turn that "silent majority" into the loudest voice in the room.
Now that's a little unfair to say. I consider myself part of the community but totally see too many people trying to connect dots where there aren't any. You're going to have a lot of people in various levels of passion in any group. If anything, it's a platform for hope and for spreading a positive message to other people.
That's the big point. You can't FORCE a liberal to think with common sense, but you can eventually get through to them if they see they're missing out.
I just know that Arizona golf courses are swamped. This weekend there were tons of people at the biltmore area, sitting in the grass, eating your lunches on blankets since the clubhouse seating was closed
It's one thing if like Michigan locks things down more severely than everyone else. If blue states are seeing all the red states play outside and they don't get to play, it'll hopefully charge up that voting base.
I work for a top 5 healthcare company have had done opioid reporting. We average 130 opioid deaths A DAY. We we already at like 13k deaths at that rate by end of March when the nation was at 8 or 9k. It's nuts!
I think we're not on the same definition of misinformation. If Qanon community starts sharing pedophile bust information that isn't covered with the media but then tthey add commentary about how all the kids are being locked up underground...whether those kids are there or not, the sharing of those arrests still are getting to people that wouldn't know it's going on.
look at the post today regarding the fake pictures of florida beaches - i saw that the day it happened from Q-backing people and it was on this site today/yesterday.
If people are just spouting out theories, I AGREE with you that it's clouding a truth seeker. I just know it seems like the smaller percentage and that a great number of the most followed accounts have the best of intentions and are galvanizing a population that needs to come together.
