I was about to add a similar comment about comment sections on news sites. I had seen a few examples of people posting links to credible information that directly contradicted the articles. It wasn't long after that these comment sections were axed.

Same here. I used to like the old left, but I hopped the fence for the populist right.

Yes. We The People are the media now.

I think what's happening now is analogous to when the printing press was invented. You had the Catholic church interpreting the Bible and dictating it's contents to the masses. But, just as soon as everyone had their own printed Bible, they started forming their own interpretations, or just felt flat out lied to. This caused a great amount of upheaval to the established political order. I think basically the same thing is happening now with the advent of cell phones and the internet. Before, we were limited in the information we were privy to. Now, the gatekeepers of old are rapidly losing their control, and there is much political upheaval.

What's behind the claim of ISIS being created under Obama? 9/11 happened, we went into Afghanistan, then into Iraq, deposed Saddam, and the power vacuum that created was filled by ISIS. All of that happened under Bush, did it not? To be clear, I'm not interested in defending Obama, just trying to be fair and accurate.

Same problem here. I'm quite sure it worked right up until a few days ago.

It's like Yuri Bezmenov said. Their minds are subverted. You can literally put the truth in front of them and they cannot see it. It's CRAZY creepy.

Thank you! It's ridiculous that in this political climate the leftists have created, that everything has to be about race...but it's nice to see non-whites defending whites. I grew up with the old left, who pushed the idea of color blindness, and I always supported minorities. Then once they became the dominant culture, they switched from focusing on class issues to identity politics, and it felt like a stab in the back. So your sentiment is appreciated.

Stephen Colbert did some pretty edgy jokes on Strangers With Candy back in the day. I sure hope none of that comes to light...
