Haha, I'll survive. Don't have a smartphone and barely used mainstream tech. Alt-tech is where it's at; new ideas, new technologies and always an evolving landscape. Twitter, Facebook and the rest are sterile places and uninteresting and bombarded with advertisements.
The old saying is true: once your mother and grandmother are on a platform; leave. One day this will be true for me and I sure hope that my kids will be smart enough to check out the new stuff.
I don't know, never got tested, this is based on my observations and they are quite clear. The history of the place and what it means in the American zeitgeist, the Alamo was a literal fort against Mexico and the wall is the new fort, it's the place where the old meets the new, so a lot of symbolism.
Adding 1 million users a day can do that. It stutters constantly and GAB is extending and adding new servers as we speak. Gab is up and down for me at the moments so I will check back tomorrow. Not down yet (I think) just overworked.
Not eluding to anything, I have hope as well but no expectation. Situations change however and there's a strict no dooming policy, we can talk about all hell breaking loose later when (or if, if you want) the crown has changed heads. Dooming doesn't solve anything and can only bring our downfall, rather come with ideas to reach Trump to do the right thing. Send a thousand pigeons or something I don't care, I support him to the end and will be playing the piano (badly) while the ship sinks.
