That would be a plausible reason. Another pede said he usually takes this time of the year off from social media and doing shows, however you'd think given the current climate he'd make at least a post or something about it.

Can someone please explain this to me? It's not that I don't believe it, but I didn't see the original story. Is the assumption that someone had his would be son in law killed to send him a message that he "better not call a special session, or verify signatures, or else"?
