I still haven't worn one, and had an interesting confrontation at Walmart. They are now obligated to call law enforcement when a maskless enters the premises.
Once I say "medically exempt" to security and keep walking, the encounter usually ends...
Rental authority radios for all store managers to come to the front. "We'll call the Sheriff for an arrest!"
"With all due respects, I've been doing this for 9 months without any issue. We're now 9 months into 14 days to slow the spread." HE SAID THAT'S NOT TRUE!! "Bro, lockdown started March 15th or 16th, welcome to 9 months."
All managers arrive, head honcho informs me "Last Tuesday it was declared a misdemeanor, we're now obligated to call law enforcement when a maskless enters the premises."

"...our officers don't wear masks... what happens when they arrive?"

...so I did! Told honcho ty I'll step out and call. Sheriff was extremely cold until I asked my question. Open with muh med xempt spiel then the situation with Wally. He stated they're a private corp that has the right to remove me, and he can't give his opinion on the matter.
"Yes sir, I understand they have the right to kick me out. They were not giving me the boot, if they tell me to kick rocks I'll leave. They're obligated to call you when I enter, what happens when they do?"
To my surprise his demeanor flipped. "Oh! ...well then... that would be up to them whether or not they want officers involved. Anything else I can help you with today?"
Thanked him and walked back into store, find honcho.
"Ball's in your court buddy, up to you if you want to press. If you're comfortable with me being inside, awesome. If you want me to take a hike, that's cool too."
"...you're welcome to come shop inside the store today without a mask."
And that's how I returned faulty pants, got my sink caulking and victory cookies. Grats if you made it this far.
