I think that's more on the parent companies than youtube(Disney, Nickelodeon etc.). Youtube is awful but they are just rehosting what those parent companies upload.

Seriously though. Download it to your pc/laptop then export it to your phone/tablet whatever you have. Then you can watch something as many times as you like without giving youtube the traffic. That's what I do at least when I have something I know I'll watch multiple times.
