Country music was the first thing I actually fell in love with when I came to the US 10 years ago from Scotland when I was 18. It was all older country though, Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, Kenny Rogers, Merle Haggard. It was just so lovely. Then I heard modern country and it was absolutely horrible. There’s a few good artists here and there but they are all few and far between anymore.
