im from germany so im used to being taxed 50%. it was never a problem tbh, it just started to become a problem when people saw how the infrastructure, schools and other public institutions are decaying while politicians get higher wages all 4 years. people start to get pissed by that now, especially because people start to disagree more and more with the government.
