One of the issues is that congress is so complicated that term limits would all but guarantee that any law on the floor would be written by a lobbyist with no term limits for whom the 'elected' official is now just the patsy minus the experience and understanding to question this line, or pushback on that language.
Back in the before times, there was an ask reddit thread - If everyone had to have a number float above their head, what would you want it to represent. A lot of people voted on things like, "# of sexual partners", or jokes like "hours since last poop", but I really wanted IQ.
I honestly believe the world would be a better place if people had to know what their own IQ was, and had to wear it for others to see.
