Well pedes, after 3 weeks of planning a roadtrip, getting time off approved and everything, both myself and my adult nephew get sick. I started feeling under the weather on NYE. I don't think it's the rona but I'm going to get tested later today).

I just don't know what to do. Part of me says it doesnt matter and I need to be there. Part of me really doesn't think a 6 hour drive + full day protest + 6 hour drive back is a good idea while sick.

Soooooo... About this january 6th shindig...are we gonna build a guillotine or not? I'm driving up tuesday night. I don't mind helping pay or doing the work. I never had the chance to take shop class but I learn quick and can follow instructions if someone else wants to take the reigns on the construction. I just dont trust myself to build it from scratch on my own. I think we really need a strong visual aid to congress that their heads are on the chopping block...

First time doing something like this. I am leaving jan 5 at 6pm with my nephews. Driving the 6ish hours to D.C. gonna park and nap in the car before waking up to rally on jan 6. I have no clue where the main forces are rallying or what time we should show up. Do we have a community organizer or a sticky up where we can network and plan?

I've finally decided it's time to do more than just lurk online and repost on social media. I know that Trump is fighting for us and I want to fight back too. I am an Ohio pede and recently Comrade Decrime has instituted a mandatory curfew. Following on his tail, Mayor Ginther of Columbus has instituted another stay at home order going into effect friday.

I am trying to organize a protest at the statehouse for saturday, 11/21 at 1pm to protest these acts of tyranny and more. Please help spread this around if you can. It is hard to feel like we can make a difference standing up to those put in power but if enough of us share a common goal we can do anything.
