Advertisers will demand cheaper costs as they’re reaching less than half of what they paid for. That in turn requires TV to demand cheaper NBA TV contracts due to less customers driven their way. That in turn decreases the team caps which is how much a team can pay players. That means these spoiled unpatriotic players take a huge paycut.
The team cap last year was around $115,000,000. It will have to go down to $70,000,000 to just break even. Plus no fans means shredding more money and fans will not go back in same numbers either. They are losing money left and right. Merch is down too. Shoe deals will decrease. Huge ripple effect.
