Yeah, SCOTUS didn't much care for the result on that one, and our AG is working to limit there ruling. We already had a couple people we had to release who didn't get charged in time only to have them charged a day later again by the federal system.
The House passed a bill. The Senate still needs to pass it and the governor needs to sign it. Tha5 being said, it is from the Speaker of the House. And Republicans have a super majority. So it'll probably pass. But still needs about a week.

Exactly! Despite the fact they were supposed to try and pay some of their rent, many didn't pay a dime. Once the eviction ban is over there will be a ton of people who have a huge debt to pay and no real ability to pay for it. Enter communism to save the day.
