Will his plan force all public colleges to accept whatever the government is willing to pay as payment in full, like Medicare does. If so, this will be a big financial hit for public colleges. We need to point this out.

I agree that the state groups are much more effective dealing with state and local gun issues. I am a big fan of VCDL. However, we still need a national organization to deal with federal gun legislation. The NRA needs to do some internal ass-kicking, but they still have an important role to play.
