The Left hates "big Pharma" because they're KKKapitalists and they make monnnney.

The Right* hates "big Pharma" because they're cultists who believe every crackpot conspiracy theory they hear without first asking, "Does this even make sense?"

*not the entire Right.

It's because the state line was drawn in the wrong place.

The state line was supposed to follow the Continental Divide. The survey crew started at the south end and worked their way north. Missoula was supposed to end up in Idaho (it's well west of the Divide) and the mayor of Missoula didn't want to end up in Idaho. So he took some wagons loaded with whiskey, plus a bunch of women from the brothels in his town, up to the spot where the Bitterroot Range branches off from the Continental Divide.

He got them good and drunk. The next morning, as they were nursing hangovers, he pointed down the Bitterroots and told them that was the ridge that they wanted to follow.

By the time they discovered their mistake, they were hundreds of miles away and not inclined to go all the way back and fix it.

We have lots of great stories of the Old West out here in the West.

Remember that the original definition of "conservative" meant people who wanted to go back to having a monarchy in an incestuous church-state alliance.

And "liberals" were people who wanted to be free from state, and church, control.

The meaning of the former has changed over time, but in our present day, it's come almost full circle back to the original.

No, it’s not fine to hate Christians, or any other arbitrary group.

There are only four things that light my fuse. One of them is hatred. I shall stand against it to the day I die.

Only in the deranged minds of Jew-hating conspiracy theorists.

Sometime around last April, if I remember correctly.

I would say it's a bad idea. I can think of several things that could go wrong.

Take art appreciation or a music class or something that you can use later in life.

It's been their M.O. for decades. Stake out an extreme position, then demand "compromise."

As soon as you meet them "in the middle," they've staked out another, more extreme claim -- demanding, of course, that you "meet them in the [new] middle."

This is the way the Overton Window gets slid to the left.

I've been watching this MO since the environmentalists' Wilderness Wars of the 1980s. There is now all kinds of productive timberland going to waste under Wilderness designation because of this tactic.

OK, I looked at an Ellen dancing video and I saw no lump in Michelle's pants.

I continue to maintain that the whole thing is a joke, and a damn funny one.

I have no need to "prove" -- desperately or not -- that the Christian religion and Socialism are two sides of the same coin. Ayn Rand proved that sixty-plus years ago with the publication of Atlas Shrugged.

And the ancients clearly did believe that the Earth is flat.

I have no desire to criticize Judaism. I don't see any of them trying to force their own peculiar value system onto everyone else around them. But Muslims, Christians, Marxists, Global Warming cultists, and dozens of others do -- and it is their takeover of the world that I strive to prevent.

Christians are the only ones getting their panties in a wad over the Big Bang. Somehow, all of us Unbelievers are able to somehow get through our daily lives without obsessing over "what was before it." But to Christians it's a big deal because they think it gives them a toehold to desperately cling to a body of religious dogma that makes no sense.

No one else cares.

Regarding who "made" the scientific laws, you asked a stupid question and I gave you a snarky answer.

My libtarded neighbor claims that they've already sued Trump to stop it.

Yeah, right. They filed a lawsuit on a weekend. Uh huh.

My neighbot needs to stop watching fake news.

No one has ever seen it "swinging." There's been a lump in her dress. That's it.

Could be a huge menstrual napkin. Or the handle of the fire extinguisher that she shoves up there to satisfy herself.
