I read the book. "As Nature Made Him". Such a sad story. All sorts of bullshit psychology was going on in the 50's 60's and 70's and probably now too of course. The story proves that there are indeed hormonal influencers on gender identity, (males have testosterone, females estrogen etc), but even more interesting is they gave this kid all the female hormones they could, when the time came, yet he still knew he was not a girl. This asked the question, for me anyways, why do people with all the right hormones for their sex, sometimes (very small real percentage) WITHOUT abuse or any other environmental instigator, really do feel "trapped" in the wrong body. I think it reveals that there is a "soul", and that is the "person" in person, and the should was fractured at the Fall, as well as all creation. And some of these fractured souls are "trans" at birth but not many. Sorry I know I'll catch heck for this opinion.

This surely didn't happen. I live in Hawaii, I know people who went to high school w/him. He was popular and in Hawaii NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE would ever use the word "coon" for a Black person, not part of our culture.
