That is the consensus across the Twitter and Facebook spheres. Biden spouted their usual script, calling for unity and peace between voters, but his own supporters don't want to hear it.

I've seen people from all walks declaring their refusal to cooperate with or even tolerate anybody that leans right. I've seen declarations that expressing ideas to the contrary shouldn't be allowed. I've seen posts reframing AOC's idiotic list like it would be a good idea.

I've seen people trusted with the vote compare Trump's America to Hilter's Germany. Oh no! This wasn't the usual fearmongering about how our nation would totally become Nazi Germany over another four years, but condemnations that we were exactly like Nazi Germany now! They truly believe Trump and Hitler are comparable!

I've seen people try to enforce reason and logic by pointing out that there are at least 70 million people that supported Trump... I've then seen many more allegedly sapient people legitimately ask why the government can't punish, police or imprison 70 million people!

We are monsters to these people! We are subhuman to these crazies! But they are also brainwashed idiots living in a fantasy world.

No! I am not exaggerating. Look at every third or fourth post on Twitter or Facebook. You see these people proclaiming their readiness to round people up or fight in some inevitable Second Civil War, but they keep posting pop culture references and clips from fucking movies. They are so divorced from the real world that the prospect of real violence and warfare is a game to them.

Make no mistake, no matter what happens over the coming months, things will most definitely become worse... and then someone will do something stupid.
