I think it's because when you grow up Liberal you feel entitled to have things go your way and to protest and make a big noise when they don't. You're OFFENDED when people try to take away your rights. But when you grow up Conservative you become used to being an oppressed class very early on and you internalize it, and just expect things to always be that way.
I have always felt an affinity to Indians... I hope when the US is just a legend that they evolve to keep our dream alive.
Part of how a tyranny works is that the people in power PRETEND to have laws. Then they just interpret those 'laws' so that the peasants are always in the wrong and the aristocracy are always in the right. Then they use that pretext to give themselves the air of legitimacy. Most insultingly, they force the oppressed peasants to act along as if everything is just, even though both parties know it isn't, and both parties know the other party knows too.
This is how it was in the story of Robin Hood, in China, in the USSR, in Iraq, in every story about an evil ruthless king, and it's how it is under the Democrats. Interestingly, normal Democrats are so drunk on the kool-aid that a lot of them don't even see the hypocrisy.
The sad part is that stories like this one are not used to inspire black people to want to become physicists, but solely for victimhood and grievance.

The reality is that almost all people see things purely from the perspective of how it affects them.
Also, people NEVER want to oppose strength on their own. There is only strength in numbers unless you want to be a martyr or road-kill, and almost nobody wants to be that. And the only difference between those two is that a martyr is noticed, road-kill is ignored.
They are only selectively outraged when they are negatively affected. Witness JK Rowling who was outraged at trannies taking away from her feminist agenda, but not using that information to make any broader observations or realizations.
In fact even then some people will never wake up even when they are hurt. This is true of Blacks on the Democrat plantation, Jews who docilely went into trains thinking that somebody else would fix things, people in China and Russia who allowed the Marxist Communist revolutions to destroy their lives and countries.
This is why it is so important for us to organize as a movement. We need to make a war plan of what the key nodes and infrastructure we need to take over are. To begin with that is the education system, entertainment, local government, and then federal government. We have to have a plan of how, and a timeline - probably a couple generations to get full control. We have to have actions that will be taken. The Leftists didn't steal this country in a day. It goes back to Saul Alinsky in the 1960's, Rules for Radicals (which Hitlary Clinton did a thesis on), and before that to the Frankfurt school of cultural Marxism that migrated into Columbia University, and before that to Marx (and probably before that too).
We aren't going to get it back by complaining. We have to get a 5 year plan, a 10 year plan, and a 30 year plan. Maybe a 100 year plan. We have to support each other. We have to not eat each other. We have to build structure locally, and spread from there. Home schooling. Partial home schooling with local group-tutoring sessions with like-minded families. School choice. Etc.
It would be more fitting justice for us to take the party away from them, and make them die in irrelevance.
If they get to keep their party they will always claim superiority and try to marginalize us. Let's kick them out of their own house!
Thanks! Well, maybe this is the forum for people to get together and brainstorm a bit, bring up some resources. If I find anything I'll post it here and/or as a new post. I believe that fully taking back our country is probably going to take two or more generations, and that any chance we have is going to have to start with education. That's where they started taking the country from us, and that's where we have to start taking it back. If we can make an education system that other people envy, then they will want to be part of it (hopefully). And hopefully we can make it so it won't be corrupted, and parents stay more involved.
I was thinking more like a warning shot across the bow before going for a lethal kill. Just as a point of fair play before engaging in warfare. But if you already warned him and he doesn't care, then that's over the line as far as I'm concerned.

I would say first just tell him that you're not interested and if it's alright you'd rather not see that kind of stuff again.
Maybe you or other people think that's too weak, but I think one of the problems with the world is how offended Leftists like to get and how they like to use that to litigate everything or destroy the people they disagree with. I wouldn't want to be part of what is destroying the world I loved in that way.

But seriously, I agree. This would also be a great way to build community from the ground up. I know I could teach math, science, even english and writing. Others could teach music, history, art, music, sports. It could be a fun way to create a a network and divide labor. Creating a curriculum and developing the resources and logistics would be a beast. There should be a model that can be easily replicated across 'group-schooling' networks throughout the nation.
And put it in the RESOURCES tab along with who is a RINO/FRAUD and who is a Patriot and why.
What makes most sense to me is a partial-home school, partial group tutoring situation.
A lot of people might not be able to educate their kids full time, but could manage maybe 3-4 hours a day. If there was a local group, private school, or parents group, or something like that which could educate the kids for 3-4 hours in the day, and the subjects could be divided up, that could work out really well.
Does something like that exist?
Voting is still EXTREMELY important.
Look at the Russian dissident Alexei Navalny. He returned to Russia KNOWING he was going to be arrested and imprisoned, and he did it anyway. He is getting a sentence of two years or more. Who knows if he will be killed in prison?
So why does he do it? Because this is how you show the world what is going on. This is how you motivate the people to rebel. This is how you show that the system is broken.
NOT by staying at home and complaining on the internet. You go out and vote. You get your friends and relatives to vote. You motivate everybody in the country. You become a poll watcher. And when they steal the election again, MORE people will see the truth, and be OUTRAGED. Until we have the numbers on OUR side to really change things.
THIS is how we eventually succeed. By ALWAYS FIGHTING. Never giving up. Making little successes. For GENERATIONS if we have to.
But when people say, "What's the point in voting? It's all rigged anyway." That's GIVING UP. That's letting them win and letting them OWN us. Because then they will legitimately have the votes, and they will be able to say they won according to the rules, and the majority of the sheep in the country will believe them.
I can't speak for anybody else, but I AM STILL GOING TO FIGHT. In 2022, 2024, and for as long as it takes. Being alive means fighting, and never giving up. If you want to give up, you might as well just lie down and die.
You can even get a little more narrow than that by focusing on ages 18-50.
An incredibly small portion of the country is causing the majority of the problems, and costing a tremendous amount of money, and causing the destruction of the systems. All the police costs, court costs, prison costs, reform costs, hospital costs, welfare costs, medicaid costs, recovery costs, social program costs, school costs... the list goes on and on. Who knows how much of an anchor this small group is?

Yeah, don't take it too seriously. Every culture has its good and bad points. Sure, there's a lot of backwardness in India, a lot of abuse, etc. But it's worth noting that there are a lot of really nice Indians, there's a lot of devotion to culture, to family, to respect of elders, to hard work, to education. I feel much more at home with Indians than I do with Chinese that I meet, probably due to the influence of Communism and the conformity and fear it creates. Some Chinese people I've met are awesome and easy going, either from farming background or just those who have spent a lot of time in the US. But the typical Chinese grad student is far less social and expressive than the typical Indian grad student.
