True statement; You can still find many on eBay etc if you are interested, but libraries are disposing of these books- and have been for much of the last decade. Friend stopped by a local college book sale in 2019- their library was disposing of nearly everthing from 25 years+ and receiving funds for new materials Some of that is normal of course, but it looks like wholesale purging of historical books. The local high school did the same in the past 5 years. In some states and countries such as the UK they are deliberately getting rid of the older historical books etc.

Good post... and we hope his leadership will continue in many ways. Courageous and not a quitter... even if change comes, he hasn't quit. Too trusting by far it seems, esp in terms of others' judgement about hires. It's sad that he couldn't have been surrounded by more loyal people through the years. I feel blessed as well... and perhaps others will feel the same, having seen what America can be... and that it will help shape the nation in a positive way in future years. We will have to stand firm, perhaps in different ways for a time... work hard at the local levels, communities, cities, states...we can do it!
