I refuse to acknowledge that there is such thing as a “black” life. A life is a life.

That said, I’m find saying “black people’s lives matter.”

I disagree.

Trump rallies usually have a lot of older ‘pedes. I barely saw any. Those patriots are more at risk and would be dumb not to protect themselves.

I care more about how many watched the rally total. Millions!

Paul Tulane, Tulane University:

During the American Civil War, Tulane was the largest donor in New Orleans to the Confederate States of America, but the historian John D. Winters in his Civil War in Louisiana (1963) does not give the amount Tulane contributed.

In some ways he is right.

Welfare encourages single motherhood. Having a second parent in the equation is disadvantageous. With only unskilled jobs open to many recipients - think Popeyes clerk - the money from a job just offsets what they lose in welfare. The more kids they have, the bigger the check gets. If we look at individuals as self-interested parties, the incentives are all wrong.

NAFTA and similar deals knocked out many of the skilled-but-University-not-required jobs like working in steel mills or factories as hundreds of thousands of factories left America. We ended up with a glut of unskilled low paying jobs and maintaining or growing professional level jobs, but the middle rungs of the ladder to success was wiped out.

Trump policies serve to uplift all groups. Trump policies resulted in the lowest black unemployment in history and turnaround of the factory job situation. Less welfare, less dependence, more agency, money, and dignity for groups that have been left behind.

The only ethical stance towards underprivileged groups in America is what Trump is doing. Liberals, terrified that once again their shitty policies result in misery, have to use social inflammation to distract from these truths.

Good choice in case as well. Got another rifle for the other side?

Yeah. I’m in my 50s and vigorous, no fear of the virus. However, my wife’s parents live with us (we lobbied them for years to do so) and has multiple comorbidities. Were he to get the Wuhan flu he might not make it, and he lost his cousin to it already. So I will attend rallies online and cheer on my favorite President, but because I have a very vulnerable family member at home I have to be more cautious than the average American. Which is exactly how it should work - protect the vulnerable while letting everybody else get back in high gear.

I saw very few elder ‘pedes, compared to a normally rally that has a fair number.

Does anyone believe the democrats are above cheat-by-mail when disruption of rallies through both physical intimidation and electronic means is celebrated by their leaders?

I seem to recall he said something to the effect that it has many names, some call it kung flu. Trump is aware because that reporter a month ago complained to him that people were calling it “kung flu.” He made her repeat it at the press conference.

All members of his family should also be fired from their jobs immediately.

It looked like a much younger crowd to me. I think corona concerns kept many of our older ‘pedes from attending in person.

Half of a 20k arena is still substantial.

I missed not having all of our silver haired ‘pedes at the Rally but safety first! It was high energy and heavily attended online and in ratings!!!

I hope there were lessons learned in 2016 and the Guard will protect rally goers.

I visited Trump Tower a couple years back and the bag screener complimented my solid red tie.

Who cares. Free country, some people think they are being courteous to others by wearing a mask. Everybody knows it doesn’t protect the wearer unless it’s a respirator.

I wear a mask at work because I’m a doc and I’d be fired if I didn’t. The only problematic mask people are those who demand others wear them unnecessarily.

Older teachers etc need to be protected, but schools have to restart in order for parents to be able to go to work. It may mean older teachers are voluntarily furloughed or put in back office positions. But it’s a lot cheaper than the loss of taxes from people not earning money because they can’t work due to kids at home.

It’s a 20k arena likely with limitations on # of people due to COVID. enjoy your president! He’s doing this free of charge.

Just let them deal with it internally. They are autonomous after all. Let the chaz police take the chaz bodies to the chaz coroner.
