Plus I'd rather my kid be weird, dumb, ignorant, etc., than brainwashed and evil.

Plus most of human history didn't have schools the way they are now. Being taught by parents is how people were taught and people had better social skills and more normal than nowadays.

That seems like a self burn

I'll concede that this could very well be the case. The first part about the cultural movement at least.

I was about to argue that propoganda can't overwhelm things like the need to survive, but then I remembered that in places like Germany, people will die rather than be called an Islamaphobe and other such nonsense, so you could be correct. I know that this cultural movement has been going on, I just am undecided whether they know on some level subconscious or whatever that they're not in true danger.

Yep, I was trying to type out something similar, but I couldn't think of a way to say it well. You said what I was thinking!

This is why I still love Family Guy. In fact I think around 5 seasons ago they became better than they've ever been. People hold the first 3 or so season on this pedestal like this is the only time Family Guy was funny. I don't know where that opinion came from. In fact the past 5 seasons has caused more gut busting laughs from me than any other period of Family Guy.

Some of Family Guy is liberal, but I'd say it's like 90% based and politically incorrect and 10% liberal anti conservative. That's not a bad ratio for nowadays, although this current season is a little more politically correct unfortunately, but still gets away with a lot of stuff that isn't.

He's correct. Like Ephesians 6:12 - 17 says

For our struggle is not against [f]flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 [g]in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

So what Mike Lindell said was right in line with scripture. Cool to see.

Why is everyone being hostile to this person who realized it.

They realize it, and see that the media is not their friend. In what way is this not a good outcome? Isn't this what we want? Isn't the goal to help this country or is it just to hate people, even when they make strides towards coming around?

Everyone's calling them a retard for not seeing it. How about applaud each one that does.

Then patriots seem way more appealing than the leftists who want you to forever be tainted for what you did ten years ago or 100 years ago. I thought we as patriots welcomed people who are patriotic no matter how they got to this point.

If he was the exact same as he was in the 60s, he'd probably be fairly conservative since what I gather from the way Twilight Zone was written, he believed in universal morality. Not this blaming and always looking through this marxist oppressed vs oppressor lens. But through the lens that every person is accountable for their own actions and that justice doesn't discriminate.

That being said, for his time period, he was a bit of a lefty, so if he grew up in this time period, there's no such thing anymore as being a bit of a lefty....It's a zero sum game and it seems that anyone a little sympathetic to that side accelerates towards wokeness at mach 10 speeds, so it's tough to say.

Yep, plus the whole ghetto thing is sort of going away in favor of black hipsters anyways. That was the whole point of the show "the Last O.G" with Tracy Morgan.

He comes back from prison cause he'd been there since the 90s and couldn't believe how feminized the black community had gotten and how they were all like San Francisco hipsters.

Protestants don't say that everything that's ever true and has ever happened is in the Bible. Obviously. We know less than a percent about God since He's an infinite being. Obviously Jesus did tons of things we don't know about.

But what we do know is that only the Bible is authoritive. So what it says about hell, the afterlife, anything else that man cannot know aside from God's word is what we can go on, since any human philosophy coming from a church father or anyone else is mere speculation and is not much more useful than asking a Hindu or Bhuddist what they think about the afterlife.

The Catholic church went wrong pretty early into church history where they wanted to have power and laid the authority of the scripture aside and gave fallible man equal authority. Since that time, they have created so many wacky "theologies" and beliefs that it hardly resembles Christianity anymore.

  1. Those aren't Christians. Being in a mcdonalds doesn't make you a hamburger and being in the church and even invoking the Lord's name doesn't make you a Christian.

  2. Look at how they try and justify themselves...."look what I did....I did this and that". And the things they talk about are the things that give honor from a wordly perspective. People gasp in wonder when people prophecy and cast out demons (even when they're false excercisions and prophecies). These are the people you see who are like the false prophets who get a lot of praise and glory for themselves here on earth. They're motivations aren't from God, but for their own glory. The bible talks about these pretenders.

  3. The word trinity is not in the Bible, but the concept is. Many concepts are not named, but the concept is there. Such as ominpotence, omnipresence, and many others. Those words aren't in the Bible, but we know they're true because their concepts are there.

The Catholic church merely itemized and named a concept that was throughout the New Testament and to varying degrees in the old testament.

The concept of beatific vision is not in the Bible in fact many parts of the Bible say things that are in direct opposition to that belief and no parts support it unless scripture is twisted beyond recognition.

I think it's called "Time Enough at Last"

And yeah, Burgess is probably my favorite Twilight Zone actor. Great as the Penquin too of course.

Prophetic, especially considering it came out in the 60s. Probably my favorite Twilight Zone episode.

If you haven't seen it, you'll be surprised how accurate it is to today.

OnlyCaleb 1 point ago +3 / -2

I assume you're a Catholic. As far as I know, there's no basis for the theology of beatific vision in the Bible outside of the apocrypha which Protestants don't consider scripture, or writings from church fathers and popes.

I worked at Target here in Austin about 6 years ago or so. Horribly politically correct even back then. Hated it.

well every Christian is a saint. when Christians say, “im no saint” theyre ignoring that all believers are called saints. Sainthood is defined by who you are in Jesus, not how you behave.

but regardless good post and agreed

They're turning the freaking frogs gay!

OnlyCaleb 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agreed! Same!

This place at first was bad for my mental health cause just reading about politics with how depressed and angry I was, just wasn't good in any form even though it was being posted by patriots.

But over time, with distance and getting my priorities in check, I now have a humored detachment from it all, just here to laugh with the likeminded about all this insanity and absurdity. And it really improves my mood and everything.

This happens on the personal level (the small scale) as well. It's how I and most people act after getting saved. We screw up, sin, our lives becomes desperate, painful, so we cry out to God, repent....He helps us, We're grateful, praise Him, etc. Then after a while we do the same things over again because the heart is sinful above all else and we're so quick to take Him for granted.

But I would say they only recognized this pattern because of God's spirit and every nation fails to recognize this pattern, most of all when they're currently in the stage of rebellion.

I mean, people now are so deceived they don't even know the difference between male and female...they're not going to recognize the things of God, since that takes God's Spirit to recognize. But anyone can be saved, I wasn't meaning that they could never recognize the things of God, only that until they're saved, they won't be able to.

OnlyCaleb 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually they're worse than that. Those bird mask doctors were doing inneffective things that they thought would work in the face of an actual, legit, terrifying threat.

Their scientific ignorance is more excusable.

Now, they are essentially doing that while living in a world where it should be crystal clear there isn't a cause for this hyper vigilance and paranoia. And they're listening to a scientific people who first said masks do nothing, then they might do something, to now you should wear 3 masks.

So yeah, those plague doctors weren't nearly as insane.

Yeah, and you notice leftists go from hating capitalism to being "libertarian, free market" types when it suits them.

When facebook and youtube, and everywhere else censors conservatives, then "It's a private business, they can do what they want". Yeah unless a private business wants to not bake a cake because it goes against their religious beliefs.

All this is to say, when I was a libertarian in my early 20s (I'm 28 now) it wasn't nearly this cucked. I really think the libertarian movement has been hugely infiltrated by leftists.
