147gr federal 9mm is subsonic as well.

Suppressors increase the velocity slightly so idk if that would bump it over the threshold, depending on elevation etc.

You should have used a screenshot, or archival system to avoid sending add revenues their way.

The utopian society was religious, so not "real" communism. Bit it did have communal property etc.

You no longer buy a game, you buy a license to use their game. All my faves are 15yr old now.

Often the defendant has to pay for the jury trial if found guilty.

Bret weinstein's take on this is interesting and worth a look. It could very well be accidental... but I guarantee ccp was trying to use it to their advantage.

The other officer is also being charged with aggravated assault and 2 counts of violating his oath.... for what, trying to stop somebody from resisting arrest?

They said the officers didnt tell Brooks he was charged with dui... the officer told him he had too much to drink and put your hands behind your back. How can you possibly reach these conclusions if you watched the video....

Rolfe might be charged in a fair investigation (even though I think on he would be aquitted), but this is insane. They must want to see the city burn. What officer can do anything if you get assaulted and YOU are charged with assault.

I dont know what happened to the officers taser discharge, merely that it was ineffective.

A taser works by hitting the suspect with 2 metal probes and the electrical current goes between the 2. If only 1 probe makes contact the user can complete the circuit by making contact with the taser itself to complete the circuit between the probe and the taser. If he went hands on with the officer again he could have completed the circuit, leading to incapacitation.

Officers are not required to choose the least intrusive force, merely for their force to be objectively reasonable. https://www.casemine.com/judgement/us/591484f5add7b049344beff8

Watch the full video, AJC edited video doesnt show how intoxicated he was. I think you will have a much better understanding of the incident after watching it. He was from ATL and was familiar with the area, he even recognized where he was... eventually.

No doubt he could be even tougher sober, hence his previous charges perhaps.

You dont think Brooks was drunk?

If I understood you correctly you should watch the full length body cam video. Brooks was plastered. He didnt know the street he was next to, his story of what and how he drank changed frequently, he failed to follow the directions in the sobriety test, and he took a portable breath test. GBI knows whether Brooks was drunk or not, trust me.

A taser is not entirely useless after discharge. If 1 probe makes contact you can complete the circuit by pressing the taser into the target. At which point they will hopefully be disabled/incapacitated.

Courts also have ruled in the past based on human response times. Officers cant be held to nanosecond response times because the brain has to process the threat and respond.

The shooting officer attempted to deploy his taser, the discharge failed, the suspect then pointed his at the officer and discharged. The officer then draws and fires 3 times.

This 1 can be a little grey, but he was a violent criminal (possibly a felon, unsure about GA disarming officer laws) who had just got the better of 2 officers in a straight fight.

What were the officers supposed to do, neither of them had tasers any more and the suspect was still willing to continue the fight.

The courts have ruled in the past that officers are not to be judged based on perfect hindsight, rather what a reasonable officer would do in the situation. I think a reasonable officer after getting beat in a physical fight, then unsuccessfully using a taser, then having a taser fired at him, would go to deadly force.
