in 1948, Truman was running for re-election All of the major media outlets said he would lose to Dewey, but in the last 3 months until the election, Truman went to rally after rally building as much support as he could. Dewey took no part in any rallies during this time, Truman began calling them the "Do-nothing republicans" and would win the election

the logic that cutting police funding will benefit the community is probably the craziest thing I've ever heard

No, but the weight of the top 30 floors of the Tower instantly collapsing down onto the rest of the building sure can. Don't even bring up the steel beams argument, a commercial jet flying at 500mph into a building and a massive fire burning at a thousand degrees for an hour inside will definitely take it down. What would the government gain by even lying about something like this? to invade Afghanistan? Iraq? No

Maybe if the police did their fucking jobs they wouldn't be targets.

Instead they are too busy arresting the McCloskey family.

I don't understand, you're blaming the police for something decided by a circuit court? It seems to me that the police are doing their jobs perfectly and arresting people with warrants created by said courts. Blaming a cop for arresting someone is moronic

what happened in Portland last night is very sad, there should be a memorial for those individuals who have died standing for their country

Lately the only country the Turkey has been willing to answer to is the USA, and that's thanks to the decision made by Trump not to interfere with the Turks occupying northern Syria from Kurdish militias. I'm sorry, but the idea that Kurdistan should be allowed to expand by threefold simply because 'Kurds live in those regions' is moronic; Didn't we learn our mistake on allowing ethnostates to expand 80 years ago? If we didn't allow Turkey to move into the region, they would have left NATO and maybe even have Aligned with Russia! So in many ways he already fights for American interests, the Turks view the Kurds like we view groups like ANTIFA, southern Turkey has problems with domestic terrorism by Kurds. Turkey and the USA don't have much in common, but under Trump they've still been able to find common ground.

its true, the Nazis tried to help everybody (as in; all Germans) but to them it meant exploiting non-Germans to help Germans. The Nazis at the time in Germany were viewed as a relatively populist party and tried to pull people of all walks of life into their sphere of influence. They promised farmers more land, the Nazis had Socialist views (free healthcare, military police state, government run projects like the Autobahn) and Nationalist views (Promising land to Veterans and farmers, Promising the destruction of Bolshevism, Tax cuts, Autarky) I mean, they were called the National Socialist party. So yes, in a weird way the Nazis used a form of Radical Centrism. In fact, this kinda sounds like Bernie Sanders' campaign
