It's obvious. There may well be an election, but it won't matter because we'll be in the midst of a civil war by then. The shooting kind.

You send them an article link, and before they even open the page they send you a reply that so-and-so "lists that site as unreliable." They won't even look at it.
The big delusion around minimum wage is that "every full time job should pay for a comfortable life."
Low-paying jobs are needed to allow less-qualified people to find work. Many of those people (teenagers, severely disabled, etc) are partly supported in other ways, and the simple truth is their work is not worth "minimum wage" (or they are in the process of proving they are worth more).
To insist that every job be able to support an independent worker is to be blind to reality.
I am still waiting for my housemates to start waking up. The three of us are very close, but we can't discuss politics at all or risk triggering them. It's getting worse as they have to do increasing mental gymnastics to support their views. I suspect / expect major emotional fireworks come election day, especially as they realize that GEOTUS is about to win bigly again.
I am seriously considering whether I should find some new frens and a new family in some less lefty part of the country. Western OR is beautiful but infested with deluded souls.
Has anybody compiled a list of companies that explicitly do NOT support the BLM and rioters?
Do not MAIL your ballot. Here in OR we have designated ballot drop boxes, at least that cuts out the USPS. But I will vote in person this year if I can.
When is this going to start happening in the US? What will it take? Is anybody talking about big anti-lockdown demos? I would drive a long distance to attend one.
I'm going to not watch CBS even harder now.
