I just got back from the grocery store in my red town in my blue state. Our governor announced the restrictions this morning. I expected the store to be chaotic and have empty shelves like in March. Nope. It looked almost entirely normal. The only sign of anything amiss were some limits (3 per shopper) on TP, wipes, etc. There was plenty of soup; plenty of TP; plenty of sanitizer, etc. I found it very interesting. It had a tangible atmosphere of "Yeah, right, we know there's no wolf on the hillside."

Haha, cluck is a real word too. At least it was when I was a 90's teenager, lol. We used it to mean people who would do anything for weed.

I've seen it posted several places now. The word on the street is that it was leaked from Inslee's office. The original place I saw it was on fb, and the woman who posted it said it had been posted by a city council member. I wouldn't normally pass on info like that... it would be too "gossipy" of a move for me to take normally... but enough of the info lines up in lockstep with what the news has already released. I believe it to be legitimate. We'll know for sure at 11 a.m.

We came soooo close. We moved from Seattle all the way almost to the Idaho border. Now we have a mortgage. But Idaho still calls, no doubt.

Gah, I know! It didn't look like that when I pasted. I'm at a loss for how to easily fix it. Non-techy 41-year-old lady here :)

Me too fam. (Female pede here as well). You know which one affected me the most? The video of the young 20-something couple (it's on Ian Miles Cheong's twitter). I got weepy. He is walking so straight and proud with his arm around his girl as they are being accosted by leftists. She begins to cry a couple of times when they physically grab her hat and spray water at them. Unfortunately he can't physically do much except continue to walk with his head held high. I can only assume he feels fear on the inside but he shows NOTHING on the outside and I couldn't be prouder of this strange young man if he were my kid.

I magically managed to avoid getting it after sleeping with a dude who had it. (I mean, literally, sleeping in the same bed).

Yeah there were a couple of weeks around the beginning of April where I was like "Okay, maybe this really is bad," and I switched to grocery pick-up or shopping at like 6 a.m. But by May I was done with all of it. And when my husband got COVID in August and it was a complete nothing burger, I was even more done.

Wow. I just asked my son, "Hey buddy, are there illagers in Minecraft? What are they?" He responded, "Yeah. They're, like, evil villagers."

So Minecraft teaches that there is good and evil in the world; and then Microsoft comes along with their postmodern nonsense and says No, they're just MISUNDERSTOOD.

Well well well Elon Musk and my daughter have something in common. My daughter received a positive test about a week ago; then was called the next day and told "never mind, it was a false positive."
