Everybody should read “State Of Fear” by Michael Crichton. It was written in the early 2000’s and it’s a story written around “climate change “. It shows how data is manipulated or not show to promote the idea of climate change along with media manipulation, etc. The main character is a lawyer who represents a rich person that donates large sums of money to climate change organizations. He slowly comes to realize that climate change is a hoax. There is a part in the book where the main character is listening to an old professor who seems a wacko but he explains the human nature part and how media and others create a “state of fear” that the public latches on to.
