Civil War is like a gun. It's the absolute last resort. You have to exhaust all other options before using it because there's no going back. Trump is really trying to get them to see that before it's too late. They don't understand that unless they suddenly "discover" the evidence of fraud and overturn the election things are going to get bloody fast. He is trying to save America in its current form for better or worse. He's giving them every chance to do so because he cannot stop what comes next.
Why? Because "The United States of America" won't exist in its current form after a civil war. It didn't after the war between the colonies and the empire. After the revolution the colonies were no longer part of the empire. After the civil war the "states" were no longer independent run entities but little regions of one consolidated nation.
