Agree! Somehow, when Catholics get in high positions of power (Roberts), the Vatican seems to have them by the balls and starts to cash in their chips. I want to believe the best but they really need to step up and show us that in the early days of America we didn't make a mistake by banning Catholics and Jews from voting or holding public office. Founding fathers had a lot of wisdom. We wouldn't have Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer, Schiff, Roberts, and a host of other evil Dems if we stuck with the ways of early America.

I get it. Tightly integrated. If Texas ever committed to going down that road, many would leave Texas (just ones we would want to leave, anyway). It would be very difficult. Texas has a big rainy day fund and it would be used up pretty quickly. The Feds would resist the secession for sure. If 10 states did it, then it would be easier, relatively speaking, but still a very painful road. I guess we could all be picking our "pain" shortly. Live on our knees or die on our feet. For me, Trump is still my President until January 20, 2025!
